1. Fill out the 2024 Prospective Member Questionnaire
2. Review your audition materials (Colorguard: Your audition information is included in the Documents tab on your account upon filling out the Prospective Member Questionnaire.)
3. RSVP/sign-up to attend this event
4. Pay the registration fee (see below)
5. Fill out the registration paperwork once it is sent to you via email
REGISTRATION FEE:
The registration fee for this audition is $50. Full payment is required for participation. This fee is payable online through MySCV.
If you receive a callback, it will be mandatory that you attend the April Callback Camp in the DFW area to complete your evaluation toward full membership in the 2024 Santa Clara Vanguard. An additional registration fee of $150 will be due at that time.

Your video should include the following sections:
Introduction:
Share with us your marching experience and why you would like to march Vanguard!
Equipment:
Technique (please demonstrate on each piece of equipment you can spin):
Spins on both right and left sides
Standard tosses (Flag - up to a double, Weapons - up to 6’s or 7’s)
1 minute of choreography for EACH piece of equipment
Movement:
“Across the floor” exercises
Going in and out of ground
Variety of leaps and jumps
Turns
1 minute of choreography
Equipment tricks, advanced movement skills, or any other special talents you would like to show us!
You should expect feedback and grades within the last week of each month (September-March).
You will earn a grade of 1, 2, or 3 after paying for your audition fee and submitting your videos.
1 - Contract! This is now your spot to lose, you must keep practicing and show that you have earned your spot at April Callback.
2 - Invited to April Callback Camp.
3 - Not this year, you will receive feedback for future growth.
